Hi folks,

Man, it's been a fair while since I put some news up, but I'm very excited to be heading over to Chicago at the end of September to play at the Ryder Cup with Emily.  We're not in the mixed doubles unfortunately but are playing as part of Creative Scotland and Celtic Connections to promote our wonderful country. Hoping to get tickets for the final day to see a bit of the action.  :)

We're also going to be in Germany, Austria and Switzerland over September and October before returning to start working on the new Emily Smith album through the winter.  Which if it's anything like last year will give us about 7 months to complete :)

Very excited to be heading off to NZ tomorrow. We've got some new songs we'll be trying out and also a couple of new tune sets, not to mention the unpredictable loop pedal making the trip with us :)

As this is a duo tour there will be plenty of banter and hopefully some good laughs on stage.  I'm finally starting to settle on some names for the new tunes, the wallaby we chased in Dumfries yesterday definitely helped here!

If you manage to make it along to the gigs, don't be a stranger, come and say hello :)
