Very excited to be heading off to NZ tomorrow. We've got some new songs we'll be trying out and also a couple of new tune sets, not to mention the unpredictable loop pedal making the trip with us :)

As this is a duo tour there will be plenty of banter and hopefully some good laughs on stage.  I'm finally starting to settle on some names for the new tunes, the wallaby we chased in Dumfries yesterday definitely helped here!

I've a busy week coming up this week with 4 different shows.  My first gig with songwriter Rory Butler is on Tuesday the 24th at the Danny Kyle stage, Celtic Connections.  Then it's down to London the following day with Emily Smith to play a Robert Burns night.  Back up to Edinburgh on Thursday for another Burns gig and finishing off the week with our Sold Out show at the Big Burns Supper in Dumfries.

Looking forward to the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards on the 8th Feb, fingers crossed for Emily!
